With more than 12 years’ experience, half in the media industry, Calvin has participated in various boards in South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya. He is a full member of SAICA and the Institute of Directors SA. Calvin enjoys a good laugh and watches entertaining comedy.

Chief Financial OfficerAccountable for financial oversight and management, governance including audit, risk management and internal controls of the company. Worked across various industries for more than 12 years, representing different management and board structures across the African continent, including South Africa, Kenya and Ghana. Audited across various industries including Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Motor industry, Construction and Services, as a full member of SAICA.
Adelaide Joshua-Hill
Head of Creative and SalesAdelaide Joshua-Hill
Head of Creative and SalesLeading, guiding and mentoring the team to deliver value, by creating world class productions. Adelaide has over a decade of experience within the television industry, having worked across different genres on live and pre-record shows such as YOTV, Live AMP and iKhaya. Previous experience includes being a youth educator, developing young minds to explore their creativity and unleash their potential.
Kenosi Msibi

Human Resources ManagerProvides overall HR leadership for Urban Brew Studios, including the implementation and management of strategic HR initiatives. Key focus areas include the retention and development of key talent, since joining the company nearly 3 years ago. She gained additional experience working in Insurance, IT and Radio. Kenosi is fun loving and enjoys having a great time.
Theunis Du Toit
Head of Technical and FacilitiesTheunis Du Toit
Head of Technical and FacilitiesResponsible for managing all technical facilities, infrastructure and teams, Theunis drives the technical expansion of facilities in line with the long-term business strategy. With more than 12 years’ experience in the media industry, including sound engineering, music composition, audio and TV studio construction, live sound engineering, music copyright and lecturing. Theunis also enjoys playing his favourite guitar.
Tebogo Rameetse
Head of ChannelsTebogo Rameetse
Head of ChannelsTasked with providing strategic and creative leadership to the Channels Department, to implement and maintain structure as well as growth in quality and influence. With more than 13 years’ in the media space, Tebogo started his career in the television and film industry working as a Casting Director, cutting his teeth on some high profile local and international productions. He has amassed experience spanning across various facets of the industry including Market Research, Content Production and Broadcasting. Tebogo is an easy-going person with a passion for music and issues of faith.
Tshepo Mashishi
Head of Urban Rhythm FactoryTshepo Mashishi
Head of Urban Rhythm FactoryTshepo joined the team in 2010 as an audio-post engineer and composer and now heads up the sound and music department at Urban Brew Studios. Being equipped with a BA in Motion Pictures, majoring in Sound Design, has helped him lead a competent team of composers and audio technicians. Tshepo also enjoys the piano and is an avid piano player.
Carol Washington
Head of ContentCarol Washington
Head of Content Carol has a BA Degree from Wits in Drama/Film and English Lit and an ATCL Diploma from Trinity College of Music London.
With over 30 years of experience in the Broadcast and Corporate Communication spaces, Carol has extensive knowledge of all formats, from drama series, short films for TV, documentaries, magazine and entertainment shows, live television broadcasts, and events for both local and international markets and Reality Show Formats, and in productions of Blue-Chip AV’s, Industrial Theatre, Launches and Events.
